One quick pull of the pattern, then sit, relax, hand stitch
and bead. I have designed and will bring
my Thermofax screen and paint for you to create an original quick pattern that
just calls out for hand stitch and beads. ( to be developed into a small pikki. )

Sandra Jenkins Workshop 6th June 2015
The workshop will involve:-
1. Produce some basic designs from pictures of flowers - close up images of flowers so they look like landscapes.
2. Dying a range of silk fabrics to achieve tonal changes.
3. Select and cut out flower areas once silk is dry.
4. Then if time allows add extra stitching to add more tones.
We may or may not get all that complete - but it will allow for added detail later once workshop is over.

March Meeting
It was lovely to see you all on Wednesday. What a
brilliant and inspiring talk from Bobby Britnell. Her beautiful work must have taken hours to produce.

Size approx. 50" x 50"
One Jelly Roll or forty 2 1/2 inch strips width of
fabric
2 yds background fabric
2 yds Bondaweb [pat will have some for sale]
Fat 1/4 for flower centre
Wadding and backing can be sorted after the
workshop
